Access the necessary care for you and your family with Johns Hopkins OnDemand Virtual Care. Through the mobile app, connect with a healthcare provider who can address minor health concerns by offering diagnoses and prescriptions without requiring an appointment. Please note this service is exclusively accessible to certain insurance plan members.

How It Works
<ul>
<li>Eligible insurance plan members can log into the mobile app 24/7 from any location within the United States. Upon login, members will provide information about their symptoms and insurance coverage, with a potential copayment due depending on the insurance plan's terms.</li>
<li>Experience minimal wait times as you enter a virtual waiting room. Typically, patients wait between seven and 10 minutes before being connected to a provider.</li>
<li>Engage in real-time consultations with a healthcare provider via secure video. They will address your symptoms, inquiries, provide a diagnosis, and recommend further steps. Depending on availability, care may be provided by a certified Johns Hopkins Medicine professional or a board-certified Teladoc provider.</li>
<li>If prescriptions are necessary, the provider will electronically send them to your network pharmacy for pick-up.</li>
</ul>

Common Reasons to Use Johns Hopkins OnDemand Virtual Care
<ul>
<li>Swiftly access care when your primary healthcare provider is unavailable. Common conditions treated include allergies, cold and flu symptoms, bronchitis, poison ivy, pink eye, urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, sinus problems, and ear infections.</li>
</ul>

Johns Hopkins Medicine patients can access their Johns Hopkins OnDemand Virtual Care medical notes via their MyChart account after consulting with a Johns Hopkins Medicine provider.

Do not use Johns Hopkins OnDemand Virtual Care for emergency medical issues; please dial 911 if you are facing a medical emergency.

Who Can Use the Service?
Presently, Johns Hopkins OnDemand Virtual Care is exclusive to select insurance plan members. These members can access the service through the mobile app on their smartphones or tablets or via their computer at ondemand.hopkinsmedicine.org.
